So, yesterday...

Yeah, it was a bad day.

I disinclined to say it, I really do...being totally negative about a day, but there it is.

Very bad.

It was a throw in the towel kind of day. Let's line it up for you:
Communication is breaking down within the conversations of my survival...things are being worked on verbally, but still challenging for me.After a lovely blogging session yesterday morning, and a gourmet (but rushed) bubble bath, I went to sit down in front of the Macaroon (which is obviously the Mac's new name) and the little rainbow ball came bouncing across the telly (that means it's thinking) for. a. long. time...until the screen just up and froze. I turned off the Macaroon, turned it back on, listened to some pass out beeping and clicking (whereupon I called my tech man...aka Rich...who suggested I turn it off and back on...to no avail) The Macaroon is effectively unsympathetic. Kaput. Gone.I had no time to even think about it seeing as it was time for me to finally go back to line. Where I found a non working 2 month old vacuum cleaner. Or rather a vacuum cleaner that works when it feels like it...
A slow running powder-room that I just had the plumbers come to fix less than 2 weeks ago...And 3 pens ran out of ink.It was about this time I felt like crawling into bed and hiding under the covers...or breaking into wild laugher.

I also felt like some of those great cilantro garlic fries from The Section. I waited to hide until I got home...I did not eat any fries either.

Pupcakes and wine sounded virtue too.

I woke up today and I felt a little better.
I ran the Macaroon by Argosy West here in burgh where the minute they opened where I learned that they are all indeed certified Mac technicians, and can help me. Rich made me buy the Apple Circumspection when I purchased the Macaroon...a $250. investment to cover the Mac for 3 years. The person who helped me at the accumulate let me know that he thought...

Electrolux Ergorapido
Initially uploaded by Ghostly Penguin Display. The vacuum cleaner that we inherited from the old guy broke down last week and I seized the occasion to explore the exciting world of vacuums. I spent a whole day researching different models from the common day and looking at the Vintage Vacuum Cleaner Museum and the Virtual Vacuum Cleaner Museum. I went a little overboard and started instruction on vintage vacuum cleaners on eBay and now I'm afraid that I'm going to win one and won't really know what to do with it.

Anyway, for actual cleaning, the facsimile we decided to go with was the Electrolux Ergorapido. I believe it is the best vacuum cleaner in the world (that I can afford). There are several reasons for this:

1. It is mundane and compact, yet powerful. Here's a photo of a human using it to show scale. Remember, I am very inconsequential.

2. It is cordless. No more tripping over the cord, or knocking over furniture or vacuuming up the vacuum's own cord.

3. The stomach section detaches and converts into a hand-held dustbuster.

4. It is bagless and has a window to show you what character of filth it finds in your house. (I guess all vacuums have this feature nowadays.) I vacuumed up 3 full loads of pet dander and detritus from a prostitution that had just been vacuumed by the old vacuum cleaner the previous night, right before it broke.

5. Compared to our old 80s vacuum it is almost unuttered.

6. Its high-tech design recalls a sci-fi robot.
