As I've discovered, the Food Saver saves me both previously and money....


Let me just start out by saying this is NOT a paid review. I just Non-Standard real like the Food Saver.

For a few months now I've been learning how to freeze different foods. I started out petty, just freezing basic cuts of meat with the Reynolds Handy Vac. And it suited my needs.

But then I started to get brave and freeze all sorts of things....gluten-free foods for Emma, homemade chicken stock, spaghetti sauce, fruits and veggies. And the Handi-Vac just wasn't meet my needs anymore. I started to get annoyed with the vacuum. You had to position it just right else it wouldn't suck the air out of the freezer bags.

And those bagss are extraordinarily expensive, let me tell you. There's never any coupons for them, and they are never on sale.

So I began to covet the Food Saver Vacuum Sealer. I had seen Martha Stewart use one on her show and so I knew that is what I needed. But at $130 at Walmart, I was more than a not much hesitant to pick it up.

Peter went ahead and bought it for me, and after using it one just the same from time to time I tossed my old Handi-Vac out. It is so easy to use, and it works so much better! You just place your food in the bags, put the end of it innards everted the sealer, and push a button.
